Jendari rolled his eyes once more. "Fine." he said. "But only to the edge of the canyon. Once I am there, you must leave. Agreed?" he bargined. Sabor had no buisness knowing what he was doing.

Sabor narrowed his eyes, it was off his territory...he trusted Jendari. "Alright. The canyon is just past my territory. When you return, will you be crossing my territory again? I need to know so that I can tell my patrol to know not to attack." he rumbled beginning the edge out of the trees and into the open meadow.

Jendari thought about that for a moment. If he came back from the canyon with a bunch of pumas and snakes following him, it would be too obvious to Sabor what he had been doing. "No." came his final reply. "I'll be leaving across the Pale River. You needn't worry about me crossing."

Sabor nodded. Jendari was being unusually reasonable...something was up, and he didn't like the unsettling feeling deep within his stomach. The sabertooth tiger led the white lion across the meadow, until they reached to foothills of the mountain. "There are two ways to get to the canyon from here." he said, "One go about halfway up the mountain and walk along the Southern pass or to go around the mountain and swim across, Dante's Lake. The mountain is quicker and easier." he rumbled. "Besides the swim leads into a desert before you reach the canyon." he warned.

"It doesn't matter to me," Jendari growled. He wanted to get theere as soon as he could and decided that since Sabor lived in this part of the land, he would let him choose.

Sabor nodded. "We'll go through the mountain pass. Besides, all that's in the deserts are snakes and foxes. No good news." he growled, placing one firm paw on the rocks above him.

Jendari made a quick mental note. More snakes and even foxes in the desert. I might slip by there on my way back. "Alright," he said. "Lead the way." But he stopped for a moment. "On second thought, would you leave you warriors here? There is no need for them and me being outnumbered seems only more likely you would attack, not that we would fight anyway."

Sabor narrowed his eyes. He spoke in a foreign tongue and the big white tiger nodded speeding up the rocks and to the left, opposite to where the mountain pass was. Sabor placed one paw in front of the other until the reach a flat strip of rock splitting the mountain in two. But a narrow bride of rock continued overhead as if the pass made a big circle in the middle of the mountain. They slowly made their way through the pass until they reached the other side. They gazed down and a large canyon lay near the foothills. "Now, climb your way down and just walk straight until you reach the canyon." he growled.

"Thanks," Jendari replied swifty before jumping down onto a small ledge. He looked back up at Sabor once he had safely landed. "Shouldn't you be going now?"

Sabor clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, but he let out a sigh and gripped the rocks, climbing slightly back up until he was on the flat mountain pass once more. "Remember I'll be sending patrols, he boomed so loudly it echoed and rattled the mountain. He bolted off towards the end of the pass and swiftly climbed back up into his camp.
Rowan stopped and let out gasps for breath. Mental note, don't threaten a were-python. he grumbled to himself. He looked at the dawn that was just splitting the darkness and sniffed deeply. Jendari was here...and so was Sabor.

Jendari's crooked smile returned as Sabor walked away. He went on, jumping from ledge to ledge until he reached the bottom of the canyon. When he stopped he took a deep breath, taking in all the scents. Pumas. Just then, a band of pumas jumped off the ledges and surrounded Jendari, every spear pointed in his direction. His crooked smile never faded as the cats growled and hissed at him. He just stood there, waiting for their leader to speak, if they had one.

"Jendari," Hissed a smallish puma, claws drawn and ready. "Dare you trespass in /my/ canyon?" AT this, she leaped up onto a large rock ledge that jutted out of the sheer cliff. The formation of warriors drew tighter around the great whit lion, spears coming dangerously close. Her darkened eys looked over him, and she regally stood in a position of dominance, waiting for his reply. White fangs bared ever so carefully, reminding everyone of the power that they posessed.

Rowan let out a barkish sounding roar and lashed out his spear standing next to Jendari and curling up the side of his lip in a ferocious growl. "Leave him...alone." Rowan growled.

Jendari put a hand over his brother's shoulder. "It's alright Rowan. There's nothing to worry about." he purred, eyeing Talon. He returned his attention to the vicious puma on the ledge. His crooked smile returned as he said, "Well, Talon, what a fine pack of warriors you have. But it is a shame. I haven't seen you in a battle for quite some time."

"Fine they may be, Jerandi. But that can never be proven unless one sees the true nature of my fighters.." Her tail flicked back and forth a glint of annoyance shining in her eyes. "Are... You challenging me?" She hissed, crouching down and suspiciously eyeing Rowan's drawn spear.
