Jendari tensed his muscles and tore his cape off his shoulders, the clasps making loud clicking noises as he did so. The small breeze helped it flutter through the air for a moment and then land on a nearby rock. Next came his sword, which he carefully unstrapped and laid gently on the ground. Once anything that would get in his way was carefully removed, Jendari bent his knees and with one smooth motion, took off into the trees. He was right, the scent of rabbits was everywhere. This is going to be more fun than it should.

Rowan took off in the opposite direction searching vigourously for a scent of rabbit. Just then, a brown, tiny rodent jumped out across the meadow licking its paws and washings it face. Rowan crouched low behind the tall grass, his tail flicking, his senses focused.

"Let's keep moving then." Talon said, keeping her voice cool and calm for the moment, a rare thing for her. She carefully lowered herself down on all fours, feeling the warmth of the desert seep into her fur. She prowled forward at a brisk pace, obviously in some sort of hurry. Her tail was still tense though, flicking back and forth in rhythm with her body. She cringed internally as she glanced over her shoulder. It wouldn't be long until someone complained.
