Aria nobbed "Come come Leo. " She said to him she took off making sure Leo was with her She was beside Jendari. Leo was a couple steps behind her.

Rowan placed the fox on top of the plains buffalo, his eyes slitted. That should be enough....I want Jendari to meet me here and approve... he thought. He quickly rushed onto a nearby rock and let out a distress call, letting Jendari know he wanted to meet him there. Plus, he could get help carrying the buffalo, 2 fox and badger he had caught.

Jendari's ears pricked once again; Rowan's call had been heard. "I'm going to go help Rowan," he called to Talon. "You're in charge until I get back. But don't try anything funny," he laughed, turning away. "I'll know. Trust me." With that, he quickly spun around and sprinted back across the sand.

You know what, I think I'm going to believe him this time... Talon swiftly thought to herself, amber eyes trailing Jendari and he faded into a blur on the horizon. She turned back to her few warriors, and Aria and Leo. "So.." She trailed off, sitting down and placing her spear beside her as she propped herself against a slab of rock. "We can either rest here for a few minutes, or move on."

Leo jumped up. "Well I say we GO!"
Aria snapped her head over at him. "LEO." She growled. Then looked over at Talon. "Your the one in charge."

Talon shrugged her shoulders, then squinted at the scorching sun. "Sure." She said, twirling her decorated spear between her furry paws. Then, she stood up just as quickly as she had sat down. "Let's move, then. I wanted to get out of this desert anyways."

"What do you mean?" Talon said flatly, grasping her spear somewhat tighter than before. "It's just that there's no food or water anywhere, plus it's so darn hot."

Jendari didn't slow his pace until he had reached Rowan in the field and he took a look around at the gifts that had been collected. "Nice," he smiled approvingly. "Let's get one more thing and the head back. The more, the better."

"To get out of this place?" Talon laughed, gesturing with an outstretched paw. Flat, dry desert stretched as far as the eye could see, and maybe even farther. The heat seemed to bounce off the Fractured Desert's floor, making the cougar's paws even warmer than before. "It's going to take awhile, at least three days. And that's if all goes well and we're moving at our top speed." She said, eying Aria questioningly. Being the curious anthro she was, Talon always felt like she needed to know people's motive. What was with everyone being nice to her all of the sudden? Even Leo, who clearly hated her guts, had flashed her a smile. Her eyebrow raised slightly when she finally figured it out. They're afraid, that's it. They're more respectful when I'm in charge and those two big guys aren't around to protect them from me. She thought. I could get used to this.

"Yeah I thought it would take a while." She sighed looking back at leo.
"Come on mommy you don't gotta worry bout me I am a big boy!" He smiled.

Rowan nodded. "What should we get?" he asked Jendari, licking the blood from his spear.

Jendari closed his eyes and cracked his knuckles, deep in thought. "Let's grab a rabbit," he finally replied. "They're nice and tender, sweet, and bound to make anyone happy." He looked ahead into the trees a few meters away from him. "And they're normally not too hard to find. Maybe we'll grab more than one..."

"Right then." the lion growled before streaking off into the thickets, waiting for a rabbit to appear in the open meadow. He lay his spear on the ground. He didn't need it for such an easy animal.
