"Yes, someone pushed me. I was just taking a drink out of the stream.. And I felt powerful paws force me in." He turned around, facing Stealthstrike. He sighed heavily, his white aws aching from all of the traveling he had been doing. "Soo... We have to go on a patroll?"

Stealthstrike sighed. "Yes. Now come one. Let's hurry up so I can get some sleep." he growled and took off into the undergrowth.

Swiftwind followed the tom without another word of protest. He was tired and exhausted, and didn't want to get into a fight with a Stealthstrike, who would have an advantage. Toughts madly swirled around his head, as questions pounded his brain. /Wh would push you in?/ he wondered. He didn't really have any enemies in the clan.. Or outside of the clan.

Hours later, Steathstrike and Swiftwind had finished the patrol and were back in camp. "I'm going to sleep," Stealthstrike grumbled. "You can report that we found nothing." He slinked off to the warrior's den without another word and collapsed into sleep.

Swiftwind wearily yawned, his paws almost bleeding from the lack of rest. His jaws opened up wide, letting in the cool air through his jaws. Nothing abnormal floated through the air, just the normal scents of forest prey. His muscles were extremely sore after almost a day without rest. He paddled over Saberstar's den, slightly cautious upon entering. His eyelids grew heavy as he stood at the entrance. Hesitantly, he let out a,"Saberstar?"

Bright yellow slits suddenly appeared in the back of her den, her fur unseen by the blackness of the night. "Enter...." an eerie voice hissed.

Hesitantly, Swiftwind stepped in, his paws entering the darkness of her den. He stood right inside of the entrance, off to the side and hardly daring to come closer. "The patroll that I went on with Stealtstroke.... Well, we didn't find anything. Nothing out of the ordinary." He quickly mewed, anxious to get back to the Warrior's den and catch a few moments of sleep.

Saberstar nodded solemly and curled up into a sleep with a crack of starlight glimmering on her fur.
Dawn broke the midnight sky and the morning songs filled the air. Saberstar's eyes slid open and she grumbled. "Stupid songbirds...." she murmured, but besides that fact she felt almost....happy. She stood up with a long needed stretch of her limbs and shook her fur, trotting out of her den with a smile to see if anyone was awake.

"Why won't those stupid birds shut up," Stealthstrike grumbled, still half asleep. "Songbirds!" he grumbled again before his eyes shot open in shock. "Oh StarClan, please tell me I didn't sleep in!" he hissed to himslef while he bolted out of the den. The camp was quiet and Saberstar was slowly padding out of her den. Stealthstrike immediately straightened up before padding over to meet his leader. He was about to issue a greeting before his words got stuck in his throat. Was Saberstar, smiling!?

"Ah Stealthstrike. I heard the patrol went well." she meowed, bounding down the rocks until she was face to face with her deputy. "Which patrol do you wish to lead? Hunting or Border?" she asked him, licking her fur on her shoulder.

Stealthstrike's mouth was still gaping wide open and his eyes looked as if they would cross permanantly if they opened any wider. While he was still trying to wrap his mind around everything, his front right paw decided to take a nap and he collapsed on the spot. The thud brought him back to reality and he sprang up again. Though his eyes were still a bit wider than usual he managed to get out, "H-h-hunting?"

Saberstar nodded and glared at him with a growl. "What am I not allowed to have at least 1 day of happiness!!" she hissed angrily. "Take Batshrill with you." she said with a sad sigh.

Swiftwind slightly stirred in his sleep, tabby tail twitching along with his dirty white paws. He had -literallly collapsed as soon as he had entered the den. His eyes peeked up slowly from the bundle of fur, blinking as a stray beam of sunlight narrowed his pupils. Was it morning already?

Shaking himself, Stealthstrike returned to a normal stance, his eyes now back to normal. "I'm sorry," he apologized. "It's just you're never normally like this. But change is good." he half laughed, hanging his head in shame. He straightened up again and cleared his throat. "I'll go get Batshrill." he mumbled, almost to himself. When he padded back to the warriors den, he noticed Swiftwind was starting to get up. "Saberstar is HAPPY today. Don't stare at her or you'll make her mad." he hissed in the tom's ear. At the back of the cave Batshrill was sleeping soundly. He prodded her with a paw and she moved in agitation. "Wake up. We're going on a hunting patrol, Saberstar's orders." he meowed.

Batshrill lifted her head with a smile. "You're in a good mood. What's up?" she yawned, stretching her back legs and arching her back. She brushed beside Stealthstrike and slid out of the den, the dawn sun bathing her bright fur.
