Dreamweaver stopped for a brief moment and smiled. "An odd question." she purred. Eaglefeather was always a curious cat at heart, though he almost never showed it. "Well, I would consider it worse than being blind." she meowed. "I can only see half my world, and the half I can see, looks so much different. The trees don't look the same, the colors aren't the same. It's just very strange. Being blind, I suppose one would learn to use one's other senses, but with only one eye, you half to use your other senses most of the time, but not all the time. That's what makes it so challenging."

"So, you think your eye will heal?" he meowed feeling a stone settle in is stomach. He couldn't image what it must feel like, to see only half his world. He felt pity and sorrow surge through his body for her, and he tried to keep his anxiety hidden by licking his chest.

"I don't know," she coughed. "I just hope it gets better." She started leaning a bit heavier on him with every step. When they reached the stream that flowed through their territory, she bent down to take a small drink. Suddenly, the winds picked up and the rain started pouring down.

"Alright, let's go, this rain isn't good for your eye, come on. You were leaning heavily on me and you're getting weaker by the second." he urged, as the rain started to get heavier. Luckily they weren't too far from camp.

"Ok," she coughed again. Leaning heavier and heavier on Eaglefeather, Dreamweaver had trouble walking. She grunted in pain a few times before they arrived back at camp. Once they were both back inside the warriors den, she layed down. She was shivering heavily from the cold and couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep.

"Do you want me to warm you, or no?" he said akwardly. He knew that if you licked fur in the opposite direction it would warm the cat from ear to toe. He sat down looking at her and waiting for a response.

"I-I'm f-fine." she replied, shaking still. She didn't want Eaglefeather to think he nedded to help her with everything, but she was cold none the less. "Y-you need rest t-to. Just go to s-sleep."

Eaglefeather nodded simply and curled up at the edge of the den. He would have to go on a patrol as soon as Dawnflight and Leafshadow returned and he needed his rest. He slowly closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Dawnflight and Leafshadow had returned the night before and were still asleep in their dens. When Dreamweaver awoke, she felt twenty times better than the day before. No wanting to wake anyone else, she slipped outside into the clearing. As she streched, she noticed the fresh kill pile was well stocked. Leafshadow and Dawnflight must've worked really hard last night for the pile to be so full. Deciding she was going to start helping out again, she padded through the camp tunnel and set off to do a border check.

Leafshadow fell into a dreamless sleep, exhausted by the day's excitement. She softly rubbed against Dreamweaver, helping to keep her warm, and letting Eaglefeather go and rest.

Eaglefeather awoke with a start. 'Same dream again...' he meowed. He stretched his limbs and slid out of the den. 'Wonder how Dreamweaver's doing' he thought. He slid into her make-shift den. Nothing was here. He rolled his eyes, she went out on a patrol. He sighed and went into Dawnflight's den. "Dawnflight?" he meowed prodding her with his paw.

Dawnflight looked up, her eyes half open. She yawn once before answering, "Yes, Eaglefeather? Is something wrong?"
Dreamweaver padded through the forest, marking the borders as usual. Everything was fine and her eye was now only itching and occasionally bled a small bit. The birds were singing as usual and the storm the night before left the whole forest watered. Though the ground was a bit slippery, she padded along and managed to not trip. When a small breeze picked up, Dreamweaver stopped in her tracks. Another cat! She slipped into a low crouch and slid along the forest floor, completely silent. When she arrived at a wall of bushes, she peered through and saw a black cat enjoying a mouse....

"No, well...kinda. Dreamweaver's gone for 1 and did you see anything, the black cat or the tom? Weren't we supposed to go look for them?" he meowed.
The black cat raised her head and looked at Dreamweaver. "Eek!" she meowed and swiftly picked up some flowers. "Here" she meowed placing chewed up leaves and flowers at her feet, "this is Marigold and Horsetail. It'll help your infected eye." she meowed, staring at Dreamweaver's crusted left eye.

Dreamweaver jumped back. Who was this strange cat, and why was she so willing to help her? "Who are you?" she asked.
Dawnflight got up and looked at Eaglefeather. "Let's go look for her then, and the other two as well. Tell Leafshaodw to go hunting while we're out."

The black she-cat giggled. "I'm Crow. A loner for now, but I heard about you clan cats and thought I might go looking for some. You're eye looked really bad, and I felt bad for you so I gave you something that should help that wound of yours." she purred. She circled around the Clan cat and sat back down. "What's your name?" she questioned.
Eaglefeather nodded and sped into the Warriors den. He prodded Leafshadow with his paw until she awoke. "Dawnflight and I will be on a patrol. You're currently the only one here, Go hunt while we're gone." he meowed and sped back out until he met with Dawnflight.
