Today was the day.
The day Jaguarstar's enemies were to finally be...taken care of. Not murdered. A warrior must not kill, unless in self defense. This was one rule of the code the she-cat was sure to follow
Leafshadow yawned despite herself. The tension between Leafshadow and Jaguarstar was still there, if not even worse, but there was something else about the air this morning. It was so damp and moist and warm for an average dawn in Greenleaf. The she cat glanced up quickly, pausing in her steps. The sun brightly peeked through the glade of trees on her left. The warrior thanked Starclan that the sun was not right in front of the two and blinding them. In the upcoming battle, the sun at their side would be an advantage.
"Where did you say you were going to meet them again?" Leafshadow softly mewed, her tone creeping up on a low hiss.
Her fur puffed out slightly, and her tail quickly twitched nervously to her side. She had asked the leader before about these two cats, but he had not told her zip about them. She was walking blindly ahead, praying that was wasn't all a trap, that this couldn't be a trap...
As they neared one of Dawnclan's borders, the she-cat again froze. Before Jaguarstar could respond, Leafshadow scampered up a nearby tree, perfectly blending in with the brown tones of bark and branches. "I'll watch from here." She said, nodding to the tom. Here, she could see if there was any cat coming near her.

ooc: I'm temporarily taking over ahhm...custody, I guess, of Frostfeather so I can advance my little mini plot. Hope no one minds. After all, I only have one Dawnclan charrie. Bump.
Frostfeather awoke from yet another night of patchy sleep. All of last night, she had tossed and turned her way though dream after nightmare after dream. She had prayed to Starclan in the middle of the last night, hoping that somehow they would make these memories vanish in time like the dew on the ground. All she wanted was some relief from her burden.
But Starclan had other plans for this she-cat.
Instead, Frostfeather had witnessed some kind of argument between her leader and Leafshadow, of all cats. It made her wonder what kind of thing could they have been talking about? Both of them had looked ragged and beat up, but it was the fear that got to her. She knew fear. She knew what it looked like and smelled like, and it was written all over those two. What could have been so important that the two of them had to have talked in a deserted camp in the middle of the night?
Something isn't right about this. Frostfeather thought as she silently rose to her feet for the second time that 'morning'. Her eyes scanned the warrior's den, passing over the empty nest that almost always contained the fuzzy body of Leafshadow.
Where is she? She wondered, ever so slightly making her way out of the den and into the pre-dawn camp, searching for any signs of catlike life. In particular, Jauguarstar. If the two of them were gone...again...this she cat was going to be very suspicious very fast.
