Lia stopped working for a moment, placing the vials back into their places, setting her pencil, down, and began pacing. Her eyes were locked on the ground and her steps quickened with every passing minute. Her mouth was running too fast for either of the others to understand what she was saying. She stopped suddenly and looked at Skye. "It might work," she sighed, not totally convinced. "But there's still a large risk. Even if we can successfully separate the gene it may not be stable enough to mix with the elixer. And even then if we do manage to put the two together, there's no telling what the compound would do or how it would react to the body when taken. The jucies in the digestive tract might irritate the chemicals and cause something to go horribly wrong. Such as an internal explosion which would lead to total shut down of the body and in turn death. And though we may be able to test the potion on some small animals, like mice or lizards, there's still a good chance it will react completely out of turn when consumed by a werewolf, since their organ structure and composure is very unlike any other creature. I also highly doubt that we will get a test subject from one of the packs and even if we ask to experiment on an anthro I can almost guarantee well get no willing volunteer." With her speech made, she waited for a response from one of her comrades, hoping for any other ideas that she could build off of.

Elisha hit her head agianst the wall. "This is so complicated!' Elisha said softly. "What are we going to do?" She asked turning back to Lia. "Nothing works! We need more time!" She about yelled.

"Why don't we visit Jendari and ask for a volunteer for the cure. To make a potion stable, you have to use bakal herbs in the northern Mountains where Sabor lives. If we can get the Bakal herbs and and DNA plus the moonlight elixer, I can find a wolf and test it on it. Though a werewolf is a mix of a human and a wolf, their organs are closest to a wolf's not a humans. We'd have the best results that way, and it's worth the try." Sky said, fixing his eyes on the full moon. "How bout' it."

Elisha thought about. For all I no it is worth a try, but he does not want my opinion he want Lia's. Elisha turned her head to look at Lia hoping she would agree.

Lia faded back into her thinking mode and paced faster than ever. She stopped after a few minutes and sighed again. "We can try it, but I'm still not convinced," she replied, shrugging. "The bakal herbs aren't the problem it's getting a volunteer for taking the DNA and such and even if we can get it to work on a wolf a werewolf still isn't the same. We can warn Zara of the risks all we want but if one of her pack members dies she'll not hold back." Lia sighed again and sat back down in her chair, frustrated. "I hope we get this right..."

Elisha went over to Lia and put her hand on her shoulder. "You are not the only one hoping." She said in a in a serious tone. "I just really hope we get this right, so........where to....." Elisha's head snaped over. "Did you hear that it sounds like some one is here." She ran over to the window seeing a demon like vanpire coming there way. "U-um...there is a visitor." She said unevenly

Lia looked at Elisha, doubt and fear streaking her face. She got slowly and glided over to the window. Peering out she scanned the scene in front of her. The sky was dark, grey, and spiling rain. The ground was soaked and muddy and the trees were lashed back and forth in the quick tempered wind. But there was something else. A dark shadow was sliding across the meadow. Lia raised and eyebrow, curious and frightened at the same time. There's no beast that can fly in this weather. Where's that shadow coming from? Just to be sure, Lia tilted her head to look at the sky. Nothing was up there except clouds, rain, and lightening. She returned her attention to the shadow. It was moving at the same pace, unaffected by anything. "Skye," she called over her shoulder. "I don't like the look of that...."

Skye slowly stepped up to the window, his body jumping into defense mode. His ice blue eyes faded into pure black as he let out a warning hiss. "Wait a minute...that's no shadow. Look at it. Its a demon, the shadow has a tail and horns and hands. Only demons can cloak themselves so a dragon can't be the answer...what is it doing so close to the castle...Lia and Elisha, prepare to fight just in case..." he said with a low growl.

Elisha crouched forward being prepared to jump at any time. Hmm........A demon, how wierd I am already experiencing new things. I knew coming here would be a good idea, I just REALLY hope we finish the cure in time! She looked out the window watching the figure get closer and closer.

Lia's breath was taken away once again as the shadow stopped dead in its tracks. It seemed to hover for a moment before disolving into the ground and out of sight. Hopeful, Lia let out a sigh of slight relief. A large crash was heard and one of the windows was cracked. Lia's eyes darted to look at the window and when she looked back at the windowsill, there was a surprise. A half demon, half vampiress stood crouched on the sill, the wind and rain tearing harder and faster behind her and the lightning flashed again and again. The creature's hair was only slightly sprinkled with rain and her tail lashed back and forth behind her, menicingly. Her broad wings were outstreached, covering almost the entire open window. Her tainted green eyes were locked on Lia and mer mouth was curved in a twisted smile, her pointed teeth showing quite clearly. Her body was curled in a hunter's crouch as is she was anticipating leaping at one of them. A throaty hiss escaped her lips and the firey marks on her body seemed to glow like real fire, the images flickering as if the flames were being disrupted by the wind.

Skye leapt back with a horrid hiss, baring his teeth and narrowing his eyes. "What is your purpose," he asked, grabbing a pure silver arrow and a long stick of shattered wood.

The half demon's eyes flickered to Skye, who was in pure defensive mode. She let out a small laugh and straightened her body, standing at her full height in the window. "It's not me you should be worried about..." she replied smoothly, no fear in her tone. In fact, she sounded almost amused at Skye's jump. Her tail whipped to the front of her body and curled around her right leg, like a snake wrapping around a tree. She shot a glance at Elisha, who was the only vampire she had not yet aknowledged. Her odd smile crept back as she lept into the room and the vampires all took another step or two back. She sighed deeply as she streached her wings and then folded them tightly against her back. Her attention turned once again to Skye, who was still glaring at her and still holding the arrows and shattered wood. She laughed again and held out her hand. She flicked her wrist and the arrows and wood were sent flying to the other side of the room. Lia's eyes widened as the wood and arrows clattered against the wall. Her attention was fully drawn to the half demon. She had never seen anything like it before and she was extremely curious. The creature's hand returned to her side and her eyes were still locked on Skye. "Before we go any farther, my name is Aithne and I come from the Tainted Fang Coven. I'm telling you this now so I don't have to deal with any more of your stupid stunts." She smirked at her own comment tilted her head in an almost questioning look. "So, how'd you three fare against the wolves?"

"Of what use is it to you?" Skye asked with narrowed eyes.
(No powerplaying, keep that in mind)

(Dun worry. I know well enough that rule. But one should also keep in mind that Aithne is a half demon, so she does have powers, to an extent.)
Aithne simply laughed again. "So defensive. There's nothing to worry about, I'm not here to hurt any of you. And I asked because I'd like to know if defending you three is even worth my time." She glanced over her shoulder at Lia, who was staring curiously at her wings and tail. Her attention returned to Skye as she finished, "I know about the cure you're making as does Taevi, the Queen of the Tainted Fang Coven. I simply come to check on you to make her happy, since she's interested in the cure as well."

Skye hissed, but returned to lounging in the chair. "Yeah, like we haven't heard that one a million times. Besides, we can fend for ourselves so leave us." he growled again, impatiently tapping for his bat Blood to come to him. The small creature flitted daintily inside the room, perching on Skye's shoulder. Skye began chittering and squeaking while speaking the tongue of the vampire bat and soon the small animal was off into the night. He began scratching down notes again and ignored the half-demons presence.
