Amri curled up the side of his lip and snatched the herbs from her hand, gripping them tightly in his palm and watching the ashes fly into the night sky. He slowly ate them and swallowed with a distasteful look on his face. "They're disgusting..." he mumbled.

"I never said they'd taste good," Aztec growled, becoming annoyed with his stubbornness and whining. "I said they'd help. Now I want you to stay in here for a bit until they take effect. You can leave when I say." With that, she rushed to the back of her den, snatched her staff and rushed back out the entrence. She poked her head in one last time before leaving. "You'd better be here when I get back," she threatened. She left for good and padded into the forest, searching for more thyme, chervil, and goldenrod.

Abury trotted close to the camp sight to see if she could find any food close by for a little snacked to eat. She found a little mouse bolting across the ground. Abury easly cought it, and chomped it down. It was not much at all, but it was going to have to do. Since someone would not listen about running low on food. At that matter listen to anything any of us have saying about making the pack better and safer. The only response she has about that is to yell at us . She is only caring about herself, and her needs. So Abury's mouse she cought was going to have to do.

As dawn approached even faster, Aztec hurried to finished gathering what she needed. Once she had all the herbs, she packed them into a small pouch she had brought with her and rushed back to camp. She noticed Abury sitting outside by the dying fire, munching on some small animal. "Abury, you do know that the sun will be up soon. Why are you still out here? You should be getting to sleep." Not staying to hear a reply, for Amri was waiting, she bolted back into her den.

Aztec was right, Abury got up and rushed out of sight to the den. When she got there she began to make a small patch for somthing to lay on. Abury layed down looking away from the others. She just sat there thinking away.

Amri growled. "Where did you go?" he growled as Aztec reappeared into the den. "I've been waiting for hours. You're lucky I stayed...."

Before he could say another word, Aztec smacked him in the temple with her staff before setting it against the wall. She continued further into her den to reach the shelves where she nedd to place her new herbs. Taking them from her pocket, she carefully lifted them out and set them in the correct piles before returning to the front where Amri was.

Amri roared in rage. "You know what! I don't need you or your precious herbs. I don't need help!!!" he yelled in blind rage, bolting out of the den and into the forest. When he was far enough from the camp he crouched down to hunt already finding a plump rabbit and a stage in the morning forest.

Aztec only giggeld for a moment. "He'll be out in a few minutes and I'll have to drag him into his den," she smiled to herself. She padded out after him, holding back a laugh, and sat down on one of the logs around the dead fire. I'll go looking for him in a few minutes.

Abury wounderd into the den. She looked up at Aztec, as if he was trying to hold back a laugh. Abury looked up at Aztec." Aztec what is so funny." She said confused. She has never seen Aztec really laugh before.

Amri climbed on top of a rock, about 2 miles from camp and peered over its edge. The moon floated in the sky, like a white disk that shed an eeries aura upon the ground. He parted his jaws in a yawn and lay down on the over hanging rock. A river churned below with rocks piercing its surface. He looked to the desert on the other side of the canyon and tilted his head. I wonder what lives out there.... he thought curiously.

"Oh, nothing," Aztec laughed, trying to hold Aubry's gaze. "I just gave Amri some herbs and he's gonna be knocked out in a few minutes. I've gotta go find him soon."

Abury laughed." O do you need any help finding Amri, I can help if you do." Abury said still trying to hold back a little laugh.

Amri's paws itched with curiosity but he stayed on the rock, listening to the water churn and groan at the night. "Hm...." he said as he peered over the rock. "Why is the water so low....at this season it should be touching this rock....." he muttered meaningless words to himself. "Interesting..."

Aztec stood up and stopped herself from laughing any longer. She grabbed her staff and padded out of her den. "I should be back in a few minutes, Abury," she called over her shoulder before disappearing into the forest.
