Crow grinned, her eyes lighting up as she went up to Dawnflight and gave her a respectful lick on her shoulder.
Eaglefeather nodded but that was only one cat they needed to find. He followed Dawnflight back to the camp and looked at the kill pile. "Dawnflight, I'm going to take Mountainpaw on a hunting patrol, who else should I take?" he meowed.
Mountainpaw slid out of the apprentices den bouncing over to Eaglefeather. "Can we go"

Dawnflight was silent for a while. Finally, she replied, "Dreamweaver."
Dreamweaver smiled broadly. Her eye could finally be fixed! She padded behind the group next to Crow. "I'm sure you're going to love it here. Everyone's really nice, and you'll fit in perfectly."

Eaglefather nodded. "Dreamweaver, hunting patrol." he meowed, standing up and heading toward the enterance. He knew Dreamweaver would be ok, but he couldn't stop the ball of ice from settling in his stomach.
Crow nodded. "Dawnflight," she mewed shuffling her paws, "i'm sorry to ask, but where's my den?" she asked, lowering her ears with embarasssment.

Dreamweaver nodded with excitement. Finally! Something to do! "I'll see you later Crow." she meowed before bounding off after Eaglefeather.
Dawnflight purred, "No need to be embaressed Crow. You're new here. That's the exact kind of question I'd expect you to ask. Follow me." She headed over to a den near hers. "This one's yours. You'l find shelves in here for stocking your herbs and berries."

Eaglefeather waited for Dreamweaver to catch up, sitting near a rock and flicking his tail impatiently.
Crow's eyes widened as she looked at the large den. "Wow..." she meowed. "I'll go herb collecting later, I'll put the herbs i have right now on the rock shelves." she meowed.

Dreamweaver caught up and looked at Eaglefeather with a questioning stare. "What are you doing? Let's go!" Without another word she took off toward the stream.
Dawnflight nodded. "Whatever you need. If you need any help or have any questions, I'm here. Right now, I'm going to go fix up the elders den, if you need me just shout." she meowed before padding off.

Eaglefeather smiled he sped after her with Mountainpaw at his side. Suddenly a redwinged crow flitted past him and landed by a cherry tree, picking daintily at the fallen seeds. Mountainpaw looked up at Eagelfeather who gave him a nod. Mountainpaw crouched down, slowly and silently putting his paws on the leafy ground. He parted his mouth and sped forward leaping high into the air as the bird took off and clamped his strong jaws around the bird's chest, killing it swiftly.
Crow placed the marigold and thyme leaves on the upper shelf of the den, wriggling her haunches with excitement. She was finally going to fulfill her dreams of helping other cats. Hopefully her loner pack would never try to find her....

"Let's meet back here when we're done." she meowed before seperating and heading toward the stream. She slowed her pace as she caught scent of a vole. Crouching, she crept forward. When she was close enough, she pounced, catching the creature by surprise and swiftly killing it with a bite to the neck. She buried her kill and padded off to look for more prey.

Eaglefeather nodded and crouched down as a plump rabbit sped past. He gave chase and and as he was at his haunches he kicked hard off the ground and landed on his shoulders giving him a swift bite to the neck. He smiled then buried it beneath a large birch tree. Mountainpaw came to him with a redwinged crow and a North American red squirrel and a vole. He buried it with Eaglefeather's rabbit and sat down, waiting for Dreamweaver. Eaglefeather had a cold feeling in is stomach, what if another rogue had found her, she wouldn't be able to fight as well with one eye.
Crow smiled as she returned with more marigold and catmint, placing them on the upper rock shelf. She took a few steps back and sighed with relief. She was fully stocked with every herb she had learned about, ready to help the Clan whenever they were wounded.

Dreamweaver rushed back to meet with Mountainpaw and Eaglefeather. She brought with her a water vole and a hawk. She looked at the pile they gathered and gave a gratifying nod. "Let's take all this back to camp." she meowed before taking her catch and padding off toward camp.

Eaglefeather dug up the prery, giving Mountainpaw his prey back and carrying his own. Slowly they made their way back to camp. He slid through the tunnel and put his prey on the pile. "Dawnflight, should Dreamweaver go back to Crow, so she can check her wound." he meowed.

Dawnflight paused her work and padded over to Eaglefeather. "That's a good idea. I'll send her over there right away. You're going to help me finish the elders den when I get back, so start working on it and I'll join you when I'm done." she meowed and padded over to Dreamweaver, who was putting her catch on the kill-pile. "Dreamweaver, I want you to go see Crow so she can look at your eye." Dreamweaver was about to argue, but a stern look from Dawnflight silenced her and she padded off to Crow's den without another word.
"Crow." she called into the den. "Dawnflight sent me over here so you could check up on my eye."

Eaglefeather picked up a large bramble branch, sharp thorn pricking the inside of his muzzle and making it tingle. He dragged it slowly and painfully over to the elders den which was nearly complete. He weaved it in between the other branches and finally released the thorny branch. He tasted the sharp tang of blood oozing from a small scratch inside his lip, but it would give the elders the protection they needed.
Crow looked up. "Of course dear," she mewed padding over and sniffing at the wound. "Can you see clearly?" she asked chewing up marigold and plastering it with a dainty paw on the ragged wound.

Dawnflight pushed over a giant wad of mud and went back and brought a pile of leaves. "Now all we have to do is pack the mud into the cracks and pack some leaves over the top to prevent rain from leaking through." she sighed. She scooped up a wad of mud and slapped it into a crack inbetween some thorns. "Eaglefeather, can you go into the den and sort of pack the mud into place. I'm afraid it might collapse." she meowed.
"Not really," Dreamweaver confessed. "Everything is blurry and colors are all weird." She padded further into the den and sat down on a small pile of leaves not far from Crow nest.

Leafshadow paddled out of the warrior's den, refreshed by her afternoon nap. The new medicine cat, Crow, was busily checking on Dreamweaver. She seemed to fit right in, and if you didn't know, you would've thought she had been in their clan all along. Wondering what to do next, she slinked over to Crow, to see what was going on, and to check if there was any update on her eye.
