"No not wait, we are not just going to sit here on are butts and do nothing but wait, for Christabella to come back. We are going to do something about it, I have waited long enough." She spoke, sliding her hand off him and sitting back on the floor.

"But you were just telling me to..." Lucan sighed. "I thought you said-to trust her. " He sat down slowly beside her, needle still clenched tightly in his hand. "Then what do you want me to do? Or what are you going to do?" He nervously added, looking deep in her eyes.

"I do trust her, but she proble would not want use here and wait doing nothing. She can't always do everything, she needs help, and thats what we are going to give her." She said placing her hand on the wounded vampire. "First we should finish this, then talk to Cillian about what happened."

Cillian was still for a moment, his hand softly touching the spot on his cheek where Geirsha had kissed him. Standing up, he placed his hands back in his pockets and strode down the hallway to his room, his mind wrapped around the kiss.

Giersha watched through seductively narrowed eyes as Cillian crossed the room. She sat on the couch, placing her fingertips on the side of her face, her pinkie finger on her bottom lip as she pondered the last few moments she had spent with him. Such power... she thought, a chill racking her spine.

Cillian glanced in Giersha's direction before picking up his pace. He slipped quietly into his room and let out a small sigh. Why would she kiss me? Shaking his head, Cillian went over to his chair by the fireplace and sat down, pondering, once again, the kiss Giersha had given him.

Giersha giggled shortly and got up, slipping out into the garden to let her happiness flow from her. He was so mysterious and misunderstood, she just wished he could see her. But sometimes, maybe it would be better to be blind. She slid through the marbeled arch of the catsle, the soft sound of crickets and nightbirds echoing through the garden. Vibrant flowers were closed tightly in a silent sleep except for one. A white rose that shone as the moonlight fell upon it. She continued on, though her gaze kept straying to that rose. Statues scattered the grass, and she strayed upon one that she had never really noticed before. A beautiful woman with a long and elegant dress was now encased in stone, her gaze soft and warm. She read the inscription. 'Akayla, our founder and our ruiner....' it read. Giersha closed her eyes and shook her head. "Who is this...." she thought, maybe it was the vampiress who no one ever wanted to talk about. Whenever someone brought up that name, the conversation ended quickly. A lily was placed at the foot of the statue....someone loved her...

Cillian got up and took his jacket off, slinging it over the back of his chair. He walked to the window in his room and opened it, letting the cool night air spill in. The fire whipped back and forth at the apearance of the gentle wind, but once the room was filled, it went back to normal. Cillian's blind gaze swept out the window and onto the ground below, though he wasn't focused on the ground. He lifted his head to the sky and put his right hand to his lips. Blowing gently, an eerie whistle escaped from between his fingers and his mouth.
The song carried far into the night, past the clouds and treetops, and into a giant nest rested in a large oak tree a few miles from the castle. A vibrant silver head pooped out of the nest, the long feathers on the bird's crest still flat against her head. Slowly opening her wings, the eagle blocked most of the moonlight that shown through the high branches of the tree, casting a perfect shadow of herself on the cold ground below. She lifted her head skyward and beat her wings, sending a small gust of wind down the trunk of the tree. Bunching her leg muscles, she shot herself into the clouds and into the night.

Giersha whipped her head around to see Cillian standing in his window. His whistle became a song. She leaned against a statue shaking her head with a short laugh. "What are you doing?" she called at him, a smile marking her face.

Cillian's head snapped down to where Giersha was standing. He felt a little embaressed, not noticing her at first. "N-Nothing," he replied. Great. Now I sound like a moron when I talk to her. What's wrong with me?!

Giersha giggled. "No need to get embarassed. I'm just curious," she said her eyes bright. She put her arms behind her back and strode closer to his window. "Who are you calling for?" she asked, digging her nails in the side of the castle and climbing up towards the outcrop he was standing in. She sat on the ledge of the marbled outcrop her eyes soft and full of wonder.

Cillian back away a step, nervous. "No one in particular..." he lied, though he knew she would catch that. Why am I such a nervous wreck?! I'm pissing myself off! Just then, the moonlight struck something silver in the sky. The outline of a large bird appeared and it swooped down to the ledge. The harpy eagle landed next to Giersha, a curious look on its face.

"Oh my god....it's beautiful." she whispered, leaping from the outcrop into his room and walking gracefully towards the eagle. She placed her hand outward, hoping it would take kind to her. "Cillian, where'd you find her?" she asked, beckoning him to come to where she was standing.

Cillian followed, his step calm and swift. He stopped just behind Giersha and outstrech his hand as well. The eagle's gaze was fixed on Giersha, but it hopped gracefully onto Cillian's arm. He raised the bird the his face and stroked her head. "Solana, this is Geirsha. She's a friend," he cooed gently. The bird let out a soft screech of joy and hopped onto Giersha's arm. Her eyes looked Giersha over, studying the beautiful vampiress.

Giersha put her hand to her mouth, awestruck by the beautiful bird. She looked up at Cillian, the two of them seemed close, but she couldn't be sure...they were both amazing creatures. The bird, a beautiful creature of the sky...Cillian, a beautiful creature of darkness. She walked closer to them, stroking the eagle's head with a slender finger.
